[Reissing was a small coal patch owned by the Pittsburgh Coal Company located between the Villages of Cecil and McDonald.  The village included 100 dwellings for the miners, a coal company store with a post office, a two room school house and a miner's hall.  The mine closed in ca,.1907, with many of the miners moving on to others patches.  Today a few coal company houses exist where the vilage once stood.]
