[Smith as a town ca.2005 no longer exists.  It is now only a few houses, probably built after the mines closed.]

Located on the Indiana Branch of the Western Pennsylvania Division of the Pennsylvania Railroad, the railline was also serviced by the Pennsylvania Railroad Hoodlebug (self-propelled passenger car), and the Blairsville Line of the Indiana Street Railways Company, just north of Blairsville, Smith, Burrell Twp., Indiana Co., PA
