Located on the Forbes Road Spur line of the New Alexandria Branch, Hannastown Spur, of the Pennsylvania Railroad, Highland, just off PA Rt. 819, just north of Forbes Road, Highland / Forbes Road, Salem Twp., Westmoreland Co., PA
[Highland Mine was also known as Jamison No. 6 Mine]
Owners: (ca.1908- ? ), Jamison Coal & Coke Company, Greensburg, PA

In ca.1917 the Jamison Coal & Coke Company built an addition to the outside mine shop for mine car repairs, and built a First Aid hospital at the Highland Mine.
