| From the Reports of the Inspectors of Mines, 1889: Junction Mine. Located on the P. McK. & Y. R.R., near Vandernilt, PA, owned by Joseph Laughrey & Co. New mine with a drift opening, natural ventilation and single heading. Ventilation rather weak, but other conditions satisfactory. (Inspector of Mines,1890:362) |
