| The following information on the Coalbrook
Mine is taken from the "Report of the Inspectors of Mines of the Anthracite
and Bituminous Coal regions of Pennsylvania, for the year 1889." Coalbrook Mine. Located on the P.S.W.R.R., near Moyers, PA. Drift opening. Natural ventilation and single entries. Condition of this mine is very good and my only objections to it are its natural ventilation and single-entry system of working. McClure Coke Company owners. (Report Inspectors of Mines of Pennsylvania,1890:358). |
