HISTORY:

DYNAMITE IN ROAD
Automobile is Blown Up and Five Men Injured.

Greensburg, PA, May 17, 1922
Five men were injured this morning when, on their way to work at the Diamond No. 2 Mine of the Seager Brothers Coal Company at Wilpen, near Ligonier, their automobile was blown up by a charge of dynamite which had been placed under the surface of the road.

The men are Russell Clark, Clark Beatty, Harry Dauhl, Harry Knox and Lawrence Miller, all of Ligonier.  It was believed that Clark was serious hurt.
