perform other duties about the mine. The boss driver had sent him to
direct a mule driver the way into a strange entry, and when returning Salutrick
ran ahead and opened the trap door. When the trip arrived he attempted to
jump on between the mine cars, when he slipped and fell and was caught by
the mine cars.)
