Brinkerton Coke Works dinkey locomotive crew with their dinkey engine with a trip of coke oven charging larries at the Brinkerton Coke Works.  The man in the vest at the left is John Henry Bitz, Superintendent of the Brinkerton Mine & Coke Works, for the H.C. Frick Coke Company.  Mr. Bitz served the Brinkerton Mine for 25 years, retiring in 1929.  He was married to Mary Hellein Bitz, daughter of Leonard and Julia Ann Porch Hellein, formerly of Donegal.  They had one daughter.  (Photo courtesy of Luther Grimm.)
