Keelings Mine (ca.1878-  ?  ), located near the Monongahela River, Allegheny Co., PA
[The mines I was most interested in, on the Carrick (Pittsburgh) side of Wagner street is fairly bizarre. It seem that the Keeling Mine of the Birmingham Coal Company exited the coal seam on what is one side of Wagner, crossed the ravine on a 200 yard trestle, the re-entered another section of the mine, under what is now the Carrick section of Pittsburgh. This explains the strange, very short "railroad" on the early map of the Pittsburgh area.
