George and Mary Canchur. George was born in the village of Oljsevik, Nevlje
near Kamnik and came to America in 1913. His wife Mary, nee Ropret, was born
in Sencur, near Kranj. She came to America in 1920. They were married in
1921 in the church of Assumption. Five boys and three daughters were born.
Two sons and one daughter died. George settled down first in Cliff Mine,
Pennsylvania, where he spent two years. Then he spent one year in Midway,
and went back to Cliff Mine. From there he went to Cleveland
