that the safe place for a man who could not obey the mine rules. He

the cage was up 70 feet he dropped back down the shaft. Up about 70
feet in the shaft we found a part of his lamp on the shaft timbers,
where he was crushed between shaft timbers and the cage. The verdict
of the jury was he came to his death accidentally by having lost his balance
and fallen, being crushed to death by the elevator.)
