face of a room in the Bertha Mine, Oct. 26. Death resulted one-hour
later. The deceased and his partner, George Calaway, at the time of
the accident, were moving a mining machine in order to make another run.
They had examined the roof a short time before the accident occurred
and considered it safe.)
